After the death of his wife, Philip Emmenthal (John Standing, ‘V for Vendetta’, ‘The Elephant Man’), a 55-year-old businessman sees his son fill his house in Geneva with eight and a half concubines. All with the intention of making his father have a hard time as soon as possible and in the best possible way. Three of them come from Kyoto, where Storey (Matthew Delamere, ‘A flor de piel’, ‘Tierras de Penumbra’), manages the Pachico Palaces company. Each of the chcias has a personality that makes them totally peculiar to each other.
The most surprising thing is that Philip manages to shed his puritan and repressed mentality to delve into pleasure. Time passes and women begin to affirm their power within what has been their home for a year. Everything indicates that there will be a family break and that women will begin to leave one at a time.
