Surrounded by the Seven Deserts, is the city of Agrabah, a metropolis with narrow streets full of people, where the majestic castle of the Sultan can be seen at the top. There lives the young princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) along with her father the Sultan (Navid Negahban) and the royal vizier Jafar (Marwan Kenzari). The life of all of them will take an unexpected turn after the young Aladdin (Mena Massoud) enters the Cave of Wonders and discovers the magic lamp whose Genie (Will Smith) has the omnipotent power to grant three wishes to anyone who possesses it .
This new musical adaptation in real action of the Disney classic Aladdin (1992) is directed by Guy Ritchie (King Arthur: The Legend of Excalibur, Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows), and the script is signed by John August (Frankenweenie, Charlie and the Chocolate factory).
